Dialogue between different languages and cultures, this is how the design approach of Stefano Sandonà and Sabrina Bettini can be defined.
Their creations result from the influences of elements of contemporary culture: graphics, digital world, movement. Inspirations drawn from travel, architecture and landscapes and translated into sinuous objects, with intense and sensorial colors.
Born in Padua in 1974 and educated in the arts, Stefano is a designer capable to synthesize aesthetics, research, innovation and function in elements with a strong and timeless appeal.
Sabrina, born in 1978, is a Brazilian from Sao Paulo with a degree in architecture from FAU Mackenzie University and IUAV in Venice; she gained her practical experience working in architecture firms and construction companies in Brazil and Italy.
Partners in life and at work, they founded Sandonà Design studio in 2006 in Italy and become SandonàBettini in 2021. The activities range from conception, to consultancy in the creation of new products, to exhibition architecture with a particular focus on furniture.
The studio has received prestigious international awards including the GOOD DESIGN of Chicago Athenaeum, IF Design of Hannover, RED DOT from Essen, GERMAN DESIGN AWARD nominee, EUROPEAN DESIGN PRIZE just to name few.
